A couple of weeks ago, I stepped into my acupuncturist’s office and was downloading the latest happenings in my body and life before she inserted the well-placed needles. “I feel like EVERYTHING is changing! That every rock is being turned over and re-examined and it isn’t slowing down. It’s GOOD, but kind of A LOT.”
She smiled as she started her treatment asking me to take a breath before each needle was inserted and said, “I have something for you to read.”
THE YEAR OF THE RAT
“January 25, 2020 is the start of the Chinese Year of the White Rat (or Mouse). The Rat is the first animal in the Chinese Zodiac system and this is the beginning of a completely new 12-year and 60-year cycle and is therefore considered the beginning of a new era. It is also the start of another decade, all of which makes it an especially important year for new beginnings and new possibilities. It is time to bring out new ideas, new plans and say yes to new opportunities. It is a good year for reinvention and starting over.”
Well, okay then!!! Change is in the air!!!
THE YEAR OF THE RAT AND REAL ESTATE
For those of you who are apt to consider such things as the Chinese New Year and what it means, 2020 sounds like a propitious time to make a move if you are considering it. After all, Portland’s inventory is 33% lower now than this time last year- a great sign for sellers. And interest rates are very low- a good sign for buyers. I am excited to see who will be the fortunate buyers and sellers making a major move during the Year of the Rat. Who will be riding the waves of new beginnings and change when the winds are right? As I read on, it didn’t say that the year would be without its challenges but that for those open to major changes and new beginnings it would be a rocking one!
