We were supposed to head to Crater Lake to watch the Eclipse but the cloudy weather changed our plans and we ended up hiking Ape Canyon at the base of Mt. St. Helens. This is a popular mountain biking trail but an equally epic hiking trail. You walk through breathtaking old growth forest until the trail opens up to views of Mt. Adams, Mt. Hood and of course, Mt. St. Helens. The Fields of Abraham are like a moonscape and this time we saw mountain goats!  What a fun place to bring you the Portland September 2023 Real Estate Numbers.
